My biological clock is ticking!! I never thought I would say this, but I want a baby. I never thought I would say that because I had never really cared for or wanted children. Growing up, I was ( and still am) a tomboy. Never played with dolls, never oohed and awwwwed over babies. Actually, I still think some babies are down right ugly. But then maybe a year ago, I don't know what happened, but I realized that I do want children. I haven't told my husband yet, because I know what he'll say... that the timing isn't right.
Now, I was just at Target and had some extra time to look through the books and got to read a few chapters of Jenny McCarthy's tell all book on pregnancy. There's some unfortunate stories in her book i.e. pooing during delivery, constipation, water breaking, etc... but despite all the horror stories, I still want a baby.
I know that to have a baby right now would be irresponsible, but that doesn't stop me from wanting a baby! I'm just curious, but how do you ever know when its good timing.
Anyway, maybe some of you could share your horror stories with me so that I can take my mind off wanting a baby.
Re: I never thought I would say this...
Hanging around here will not helpp get your mind off it, in fact quite the opposite.
Go read the birth stories board, that might do the "horror" trick. Look for the really graphic ones. LOL.
I'm sorry, this made me LOL.
