I know I keep posting about this but i'm really starting to get worried about it. Today all she had was a waffle w/jelly on it and some peas at dinner (and not many). I dont know if she had any snacks or not but MIL said she drank milk like it was her job. At least she's drinking.
I will be calling the doc tomorrow, but in the meantime, how can I tell if it's a phase or some other issue... It's been about a month now but it's gotten progressively worse. I have been convinced that she's getting her eye teeth (which i've also posted about off and on) and kept trying to wait it out hoping they'd come out but they still aren't out yet.
She is fine in every other way though, happy, laughing, playing tons, napping fine. She hasn't had a fever and hasn't needed any tylenol for her teeth since the middle of last week.
ETA that when she was eating great (everything we put in front of her) she still drank at least 20oz of milk a day. Shes probably only drinking 24 oz now and nothing more is offered except for water, which isn't that often.
I think i'm so worried about it so much because she's already so tiny... She was barely 18 lbs at her weight check at the beginning of september (which doc said was 3rd percentile)

I found it:

HTH!
I am in the same boat just a few month later. My DD at her 12 mo appt was in the 1st %. At her 15 mo appt she moved to the 3%. She was at the dr today and still weighs back and forth between 19.5 and 20lbs never over 20.
We have spoken with the dr and have worried alot! First you have to really stick to 2 servings of 8oz for the day. The norm is 2-3 8oz serving but milk will give your DD good nutrients but not calories that stick. So our ped said for skinny babies you have to to stick to 2 servings. It is important that the calories come from food and not from liquids. I also do as previous posts said and I make her eat before I give her the cup. Also just experiment and find things that she really likes. My DD pretty much lives on yogurt, applesauce, waffles, pancakes, and if we are lucky she will eat alittle of something else. I just keep making her a balanced meal and put it in front of her. When she throws it all on the floor I give her the usual staples. It is frustrating and makes you worry but the dr claims it will eventually get better and they will eat more.
Good luck! From one mother of a skinny mom to another do the best you can do and don't worry too much!
