new to site and ?

Hi everyone!! This is my first post to this site and I am a little nervous!!

I went for my 1st appt today and they did an u/s and there was only a little tiny black circle.  The Dr said it is probably just 2 early and I have to go back in 2 wks . Has this happened to anyone else and when you went back was everything ok?  I feel like I have symptoms of being pg--tired, sore boobs, slightly quizzy at times.  I thought I was at about 6wks (LMP on 8/17). Please ease my mind!!!

What you saw was probably the sac and like the doctor said you may not be as far along as you thought. I went in for my first appt thinking I was almost 11 weeks and I turned out to be only 8 weeks 3 days. Baby is still doing well. So try not to worrry to much, the doctor will let you know when to be concerned. Will you be going back in the next few weeks for a follow up u/s?

I went for bloodwork after my OB appt.  I got back for a follow up on the 15th of OCT.  Another 2wks of waiting........

Try and hang in there, I know its hard, but just think of how much more you will be able to see next time. I know it isn't that comforting, but really stressing about something you have so little control over doesn't help you or the baby. I hope everything goes well, keep us updated! Good luck!

CONGRATS!!! I have my "little black circle" u/s pic hanging on my mirror. I call it a bubble, my mom calls it a diamond ring (b/c LO is just a little white spot on the edge of the circle at that point.  Is this your 1st pg? If so, just wait until one u/s looks like a peanut blob and suddenly in the next one LO is moving and you can see his piggie toes!!!! =-)

Yes this is my first!! I am super excited. We didn't get the u's pic .  I was hoping she was going to give it us.  DIdi your Dr say everything was good or do you have to go back for a follow up??  Mine said it is just to early, but it looks like something is starting.  I hate waiting!!!
