Does getting stitches removed hurt?

I've only had stitches from knee surgery and one other time, but I don't ever remember getting them taken out bc it has been so long. My stitches come out tomorrow and I'm worried about it.

As long as they haven't been in there TOO long, then no. It should be pretty painless.

They have been in since last Monday, but she told me tomorrow would be fine to get them out. Joseys- I had two suspicious moles removed. All came back benign though!

they should just slide right out.

I had a few stitches for a removed mole too - won't hurt a bit.

Mine only hurt bc they'd been in too long and started to heal over the stitches. Glad your moles came back ok! One of mine did not and I wound up with 5 stitches. They got it all at least!!
