Flintstones Gummies cost more than Prenates?

Considering you have to eat 2 to get a full adult dosage.  They are yummy, though.  I so look forward to taking my vitamins now!  If I didn't know better, though, I'd eat the whole bottle.  Kids today have it made! I don't know if it's really helping with the a.m. sickness, but I'm just digging the fact that they're gummy!  I do have to take a folic acid supplement, but it's a small price to pay for vitamin-rich deliciousness (I just hate they cost so much!)

  • Have you started vitamins on your LO yet? This hadn't occurred to me. When should you start?

  • I think at age 2?  Maybe it's three?  They're definitely too young to chew them right now I think. Heck, DD only has about 9 teeth right now.
  • But KG, they are so yummy!  It's like a little bit of heaven in a gummy.

I took the Flintstones (2 of them) when I was PG the first go-around. The 'regular' prenatals made me ill.

We started giving DS gummy vitamins last week.  We just tear them into thirds and he's able to chew and swallow them just fine.

  • I get the regular non gummy childrens vitamins and love them.  Target has their own brand that is 1/2 the cost of the Flinstones ones.
  • I think G might get addicted to vitamins if we start now. LOL  She'll think they're her food.  I remember when we did the tasting for her birthday cake. She started bawling when it was over because she thought the filling she ultimately chose (banans foster--my little diva) was her dinner.
