1st Trimester

Ugh. So mad.

So, I have a friend who is a doctor.

I saw him on Saturday and Sunday all day. Saturday was my cousin's wedding and Sunday we all went out and I saw him for the whole day basically.

I find out yesterday that he was exposed to swine flu. He didnt know on Saturday (which is fine because he didnt know) but he knew on Sunday and still came out with all of us.

 Hello, stupid! I am pregnant.

How irresponsible is that for a doctor to do?!

Re: Ugh. So mad.

  • eh...you probably won't get it.  They get exposed to like a million things a day and don't get most of them due to the masks, gloves, etc.  My husband's a doctor and he's been exposed too, am I supposed to tell him to move out until flu season is over?

  • You should be fine.  I would be much more worried about the regular flu
  • I completely understand.  I babysat my cousin-in-law's kids on Saturday.  I get there and her 7 year old daughter starts telling me that she missed school the day before, was running a fever, had been throwing up all day the day before, and still sounded very stuffy and congested.  Then her 3 year old son was congested and had green snot coming out of his nose.  I was PISSED!  My cousin-in-law knows I'm pregnant and yet she decided it would be ok to expose me to whatever her kids have!
