DS has started pretending that he's playing with various invisible things. He picks "trash" up from the floor and throws it away, and feeds me various invisible foods and then says "mmm" when I eat them. I wonder what he has been feeding me?

Has anyone else's kid started doing this yet? It's really cute. DH once "ate" some imaginary trash that DS picked up, and DS got a horrified expression on his face. I just hope that he doesn't start eating trash now!

Yes! DS goes to the pantry and pretends to take out food and comes and feeds me.

He also likes to pretend to put me to bed. He gets a pillow, pats it, and says night night mama, and I have to pretend to go to sleep.

Oh I know its been said before many times...I love this stage. DD is big on pretend. Her bears and dolls get feed all the time.

DS likes to do this too! He'll also pretend to go to sleep, so it gets confusing as to whether he's actually tired or not.
