Anyone's LO impossible to change??

Does it get easier as they get older??? My 1 yr old cries, twists, and crawls away when I try to change his diaper.  It is driving me crazy and makes changes impossible.  I try toys, food, standing him up, but it takes forever.  Is this common???

Yep. We are at 19 months old and still dealing with this. He is squirmy, cries, screams, whatever during about 80% of diaper and clothes changes and it's been this way for quite a while.

Ugh.  Carter acts like it's pure torture to be changed.  I feel like nothing works!

Yes my lo does the same thing. It takes me about 10min just to change his diaper.

I do the leg hold. She calms down and chills for a half second.

dd has been this way for many months now.  I have to use the changing table or it will never be accomplished.  I usually give her something she doesn't get to play with and it catches her attention until I am finished.  Some changes are worse than others, but I am hoping she is growing out of this stage.

I have to just give him something i would never let him play with...like the remote control or my cell phone..yes I know bad Mom..but I can't take it
