Do you use a seat protector?

We have leather seats in both of our cars and want something to put under the carseat so it doesn't ruin our seats.

What do you use?

Is it even safe to put anything under the seat?

We used one in Stephen's car. It was from Target. The car seat installation tech said it was fine. You can use a towel as well.

I also got a new car with leather seats. I bought the protector from target. It's from eddie bauer. That car seat is so tight that thing isn't budging haha

I have cloth seats but I would probably just use a towel and it will catch any food that will be thrown.

Target carries the Eddie Bauer one.  We have it in both vehicles and it works fine.  The carseat doesn't budge with it in there.

we use that rubber cabinet/shelf liner.  It's super cheap and if you double it up, you can usually get it to match the color of the leather, the seat doesn't slide, and it won't ruin the car...GL!

We had one and returned it because the car seat inspector said they are NOT safe and NOT recommended because they are not crash tested w/ the seat. The only thing under our seat is a piece of that no-skid shelf protector stuff to keep the seat from sliding on the leather. Whenever we remove our seat, the leather just gets it's shape back, no biggie.
