I also got a new car with leather seats. I bought the protector from target. It's from eddie bauer. That car seat is so tight that thing isn't budging haha

we use that rubber cabinet/shelf liner. It's super cheap and if you double it up, you can usually get it to match the color of the leather, the seat doesn't slide, and it won't ruin the car...GL!
We had one and returned it because the car seat inspector said they are NOT safe and NOT recommended because they are not crash tested w/ the seat. The only thing under our seat is a piece of that no-skid shelf protector stuff to keep the seat from sliding on the leather. Whenever we remove our seat, the leather just gets it's shape back, no biggie.
