ugh my mom is on my nerves (vent)

We haven't told anyone yet and don't plan on it until after our first appointment in a couple weeks.  Well, Sunday night she totally calls me out.  I deny everything and think she went for it.  Nope, she called up my dad and now involved him in her suspicions too.  So now they're both all over my case about any "news" I might have.  Thanks mom, why not just ruin the surprise for everyone.  I'm sure she's done the same thing with my grandparents too.  Don't you think if we wanted the world to be on to us, we would have told you all by now??? why is it your business to go spreading our good news??  She does this all the freaking time too, which is why I have to hide everything from her unless I want everyone knowing.  Grrr!

ugh...my mil did the same thing. i was annoyed because we wanted to announce it after our nt scan...now she ruined it.

My MIL has been telling everyone who will listen.  She didnt even tell her best friend about my first pregnancy but I guess she feels free to announce to the world about this one since Ive made it this far.  I was at SIL's bridal shower on Sunday and Mil basically yelled it to the room.  I def didnt want it announced there as it was SIL's day.  Its nice that shes so excited, but if I wanted these people to know, I would tell them.

That's why we went ahead and told our parents and made sure they knew not to tell anyone.  If they were suspicious, they're more likely to share that suspicion with other people.  Now they know the truth and know not to say anything.

This. Mom and dad get to be part of the big secret. And I'll probably let mom actually tell the family because she's hilarious when she finally gets to tell a secret - she positively BURSTS.
