I have to share this bc it was just so weird IMO. So, this was my first appointment today so I got the full exam in addition to the rest of the paperwork/bw/us.
During the breast exam, my midwife actually looked at them, and asked me how I planned to feed my baby. I said breastfeeding (please don't debate the fact with me, I'm only stating it for the purpose of this story). She responds with, "well, you have great nipples for breastfeeding! You won't have a problem!"
Okay...so that's probably totally normal and something she thinks about, but I just thought it was so awkward! I mean...to comment on it out loud! I don't know...just kinda awkward....but I loved her other than that! (and I suppose it needed to be said...just something I hadn't wondered about yet haha)

Yeah...I just wasn't expecting it bc my old gyn used to leave me covered and just put her hands under the gown so I was a bit unprepared...not to mention I don't really talk about that part of my body usually...guess I'll learn to now! lol
Avid--I pm'd you about my appointment :-) It went super well...heartbeat was 145 yay! My major fear is gone :-D When is your first appointment?
