Light Brownish Discharge

I had intercourse a day ago and now i have a very faint brown discharge.  The nurse says its normal, but i', still concerned!  Any advice?

I've been having this off and on since about 5-6 weeks & at my first visit my OB said this is perfectly normal. She said I only need to be concerned if the spotting is red or strong cramping. The brown is old blood. But I say if it is making you worried, call your doctor just in case! If anything it will help you feel calmer about it. I agree though it's a little stressful seeing that. I had some today and am still taken aback by it!

Brown is a sign of old...I have had the same thing for like 3 weeks...

Yeah..RELAX!!! the nurse obviously isnt concerned..so you shouldnt be either.

I had that happen to me a few wks ago and the nurse put me on 2 wk pelvic rest and no lifting anything over 30lbs just to be safe. Didnt happen again but of course we were a bit nervous.

Me too - mine came in a bunch of EWCM, which was pretty freaky.  A bit of spotting is normal after sex.

my doctor said it's normal - don't worry! and even if it wasn't from intercourse, brown is generally nothing to be worried about.

What about when there's a little Red in there also?
