A police officer just came knocking at the door asking if i saw anything at the time of the shooting.

me: what shooting

officer: there was a shooting in the area 2 hours ago

me: where?

officer: were not exactly sure where it happened

me: oh, i didnt even know there was a shooting. Ive been in the house all day with my son. Is the person OK?

officer: not sure, theyre working on him at the hospital

there was a little more to the conversation (my name, phone number.. and so on)

Nothing in the online paper yet.

Come to think about it im pretty sure I was upstairs crying with my J because i couldnt figure out why he was crying around that time.

Yikes!!! There was a little 4 mo old boy shot yesterday out here. So, so tragic and sick.

we had that happen last weekend around 4am....I felt I was dreaming and then DH said...did you hear that...DH went to get the door, I was in the hallway...and according to DH there was a chase and there was a struggle and they wanted to know if we saw anything....there was 6 cop cars outside our house! I swear that is scary...especially now w/a kid now....we all woke up even Lo...

No, im up north more but there has been a bunch here too!! 4 that i know of in the last few days!

North Dakota sounds better and better all the time! (I live here!) It's cold, but remotely safe!
