not sure if m/s or sick?

I woke up this morning really, really nauseated and threw up after I got out of the shower. I got to work and threw up twice more and then went home and slept for 3 hours and I still feel like crap. My throat is slightly sore. I'm not sure if it is from the vomiting or if i have a virus or something. How can you tell if its m/s as opposed to illness?

Do you have any other symptoms (like fever, congestion, diarrhea)? Because none of those are signs of m/s and would indicate a bug. Otherwise I would say it's m/s.

I don't have any of those - no fever. OB's office is closed for the holiday. My throat concerns me, but it could just be irritated from the vomiting. i can't believe this is m/s - i won't be able to function or work if it is i feel so bad

I think I read somewhere that if yous stomach does not hurt, cramp, etc., it is m/s.  If it gets too bad, they can always prescribe meds, so you can function.

Oh...my m/s started about 6 weeks.

Yeah I would imagine the stomach acid could be to blame for your sore throat. I had a bad v-urp last week and my throat was sore the rest of the night.
