Scoop Away. It gets out of the box. We bought a plastic mat that you use for office chairs and put it under the litter box, and got a little rug for the edge. The combination of the two keeps the litter pretty well contained and easy to clean.
I hate that I opened this immediately upon seeing the title...
We use Arm&Hammer and I hate it. They used to make a kind that was awesome but discontinued it and I'm not happy with their MultiCat kind. I think we're going to try Feline Pine, or try mixing some crystals in with the A&H to see if that helps. I'm more concerned with odor, but for tracking I bet the Feline Pine would be better because the pieces are bigger and might track less.
We use Fresh Step as well, but we have a plastic litter pad to set outside the box. It kinda works. I still have to sweep up litter every once in a while.
We have the Breeze litter box by tidy cat I believe. It doesn't use litter it uses pellets and then there are pee pads that go in a pull out tray. We have four cats and you would never know it if they weren't under your feet the moment you walk in the door. The pellets stick to the poo which makes for non-messy scooping, and the pee is absorbed through slits in the bottom of the litter box onto the absorbent pads. We add pellets maybe once every two weeks and dump them after a month. The pads have to be changed about every 3 or 4 days because we have so many cats. I highly reccomend this litter box system. Sometimes the pellets get on the floor but I just sweep em up and put them back in the litter box. Hope this helps!
Tidy Cat Immediate Odor Control for multiple cats. My one cat makes business like multiple cats. I got a cheap rug at Walmart that you would normally wipe your shoes on, it was only $3.
