BD's breakfast: Carnation & giant Kit Kat Bar

DH had to stop at the general store and get milk this morning before dropping BD off at school because I used the last of the milk to make BD a carnation instant milk earlier this morning.  The guy at the counter told BD to pick out anything he wanted - so, of course, he chooses the largest Kit Kat bar in the universe.  No way was DH about to tell him he couldn't eat it, especially as school drop-off is a nightmare to begin with.  Apparently, breaking the monotomy of the morning routine is what he needed to have a good dropoff - - or maybe it was the kit kat bar.
