When can I start using a Moby or Peanut Shell?

Can you start using these right away, or do you need to wait a little while until the baby is a certain size?  I keep reading how much everyone loves these (I received both at my shower), so I'm hoping it's something that's useful right away.  Thanks!

I am not familiar with the Peanut Shell, but you can use your Moby right away with either the Cradle Hold or Newborn Hug Hold.

The Moby says 5 lbs, but that was probably only a problem for me
