I *think* I'm feeling the baby move, but it doesn't feel like a fish swimming or flutters like I've heard others say. I'll feel a tap in one place in my abdomen and then three or four subsequent taps in the same spot. Last night I felt it in bed and pulled up my shirt to see if I could see anything, and I did see little blips of movement. Crazy! Anyone have movement start out this way, or am I totally off base?
Yep, probably baby! I never got the "goldfish" feeling, or fluttering, either. It's always been taps (some hard, some soft) since I first started feeling him/her at 16 weeks.
Congrats!

I feel taps too I never felt the feeling the way many describe it. I felt movement when i was 14 weeks but i had no idea what it was. I didnt want to get excited if it wasnt the baby. But at the middle of 15 weeks i started feeling taps or thumps as i described them. I am feeling them more frequent now and today i felt them a little harder then before. Before they were light and i would only feel them laying down quietly...but now i feel them sitting too The kicks are usually in the middle of my stomach. My baby must be really active! Im 16 weeks and 4 days!
