Weird u/s picture

This is going to sound so stupid, but I'm being paranoid about what my baby looks like in the u/s picture taken yesterday.  It looks like a mouse!  I swear I can see little mouse eyes and mouse ears, and the head/face looks sloped like the front of a mouse face.  I am approximately 9w3d, and I was expecting to see something that looked a little more....human. It makes me worried that the head is not developing properly or something, although the tech said everything looked great.

 Anyone else a little disappointed/worried about what your baby looked like on the u/s?  I can't believe I have to wait another 2 1/2 months for another u/s.  This mouse thing is really bothering me!!!!

well, considering my baby looks like a bean on an u/s . . i wouldn't be worried.  they do say they look alien like at this point in time.

At this point, I may be worried if they looked totally human on an u/s, as they are "supposed" to look like aliens at this point...;)

At 9 weeks, their head should be pretty big compared to their body. You're good.

Totally normal.  My baby looked like an alien with a beak (on the 8w u/s)...seriously, do not stress.  It just depends on the angle the u/s was taken.

Your baby will look nothing like it does in your u/s pictures, especially not one at 9 weeks.

Glad I don't get one done til 20 weeks.  Though it would be nice to see my baby as an alien.  Could come in useful when I want to embaress him/her later on in life.  I'm mean, I know.

I had a u/s with DD at around 9 1/2 weeks.  She looked like a gummy bear.  Hopefully it will ease your mind to know that she definitely looks like a human now and not a gummy bear.

Thanks for the responses, even the somewhat snarky ones ;-)  I know I'm being ridiculous!  I just wish I didn't see the profile of a rodent when I look at my baby's picture lol.

Mine looks like an uncooked extra large shrimp right now. I thought it quite adorable because before they snapped that picture, I'd heard the blessed heartbeat

LOL.  I can always count on you for a giggle.  

The baby looked like a shrimp in my 10w u/s, and by my 12w one it looked more like a baby (well, more like a gummy bear, but at least more baby-like).  I wouldn't worry.
