I need a babysitter or I can be a babysitter

I want to start a small 3 kid daycare or I need some who watches kids.

I priced daycares and they want to charge me 1,200 dollars a month for a 6 week old.   

If I was watching a child I could never charge someone that much money.  Its a baby!  They need love and someone to care for them... Not someone to hustle money from their parents.

So, Does anyone run a daycare or would like me to watch their children.  My baby is due in March and I would like to start watching children in April or June. Or have someone help me in April or June and not charge me 1,200 dollars a month.

I just wanted to let you know that my husband and I decided not to send our 8 week old to a daycare facility for obvious reasons.  We have been interviewing nannies this week.  I found a website where nannies can post their qualifications, etc and you can post a job (www.care.com).  I got a TON of responses for ours.  We also looked for friend referrals and checked out the boards at local churches.  You may want to take a look.

Plus, they are coming into our house and focusing on our children.  We are personally not paying them to clean our house and do laundry,etc. So, the compensation can be more reasonable since you are not asking for all of the 'extras'. 

We found that the candidates we've met with are often in school and really willing to work with us on compensation.  They are also experienced working in daycares and understand the issues in facilities like that.
