I'm waiting until my milk comes in. What's the point of having a fitting now when you have no idea how large your breasts will get when your milk comes in?
I was going to buy mine from VS because I have heard just amazing things about there nursing bra's. Plus I have loved shopping there for so long, its kind of engrained in my thought process. I have smallish boobs though, C cup, so even if I go up a cup they will still have my size.
I'm tiny so I just got the smaller $20 ones from BRU. They are very comfy! My sister is bigger on top and she
also got the ones from BRU but the ones that are bigger and have more
support! She's had 3 kids and BF all of them and said she liked them
the best!
I really like the Target ones; I think they were around $15. I bought a size larger (this was right before I had DD--16mos ago) and was glad I did. I found these ones the easiest to one-hand hood and unhook
I ordered a couple nursing tanks from ON since I don't know what bra size I will need when my milk comes in. That's what a lot of mom recommend. They suggest waiting at least two weeks after breastfeeding to purchase nursing bras.
I've tried Target and Motherhood Maternity nursing bras- hated them!
I'm going to go with Bravado this time. I've only heard WONDERFUL things about these bras. I'm a very busty person so I need more support than Target and MM can offer with their bras. And these ones just have everything I need and it's worth a little extra $$$ to have a good bra.
Plus, they have a good return policy (most bra companies don't!) and they have sizing charts to use when you're in the 3rd trimester so you know what you'll need for when your milk comes in. I'm going to buy one to start and see how I like it!
Re: Shopping for Nursing Bras
Thanks for asking. I was wondering the same thing.
