my first reaction: only works for jason lewis in sex and the city.

my second reaction: it's actually not that bad (after i said it a couple of times).  smith is so close to seth, so it actually sounds like a legitimate first name to me.  also, with the increasing use of lastnames as firstnames, e.g. jackson...smith seems to fit right in.

I have a 2nd cousin named Smith - although for her, it is a family name.

Otherwise (e.g.: just b/c) = nms.

I agree. Having the right last name is also key for this one, like one of the other pps mentioned.

I love last names as first.  I like it and am happy there will not be another Jackson, Jayden, Caden, and Aiden in the world.
