Why is it so hard?!

We've got our middle name, either Lynn after my mom, or if it doesnt flow with the first name, Anne, which is my middle name. I  typically like traditional/ old fashioned names, or just feminine sounding, but just cant think of one I love! (Anything ending with a son is out due to last name) I dont have much family to choose names from, both parent were only children and Grandmathers name are a little too old fashion for me. Name books and websites just seem to repeat the same names over and over to me. Anyone that enjoys suggesting names, please help

We have found it soooooo hard to pick a girls name!!  I feel like we either have close family/friends that have used the name already or some past issues with a person with that name.

DH has been IMPOSSIBLE with this.

Maybe pull out a family tree. Maybe there isn't much in the last couple of generations, but if you go back a couple more, maybe you will find something. Lots of those names (hopefully) will be feminie and traditonal, but maybe something you hadn't thought of. Of course, you could be like me and looking back at generations of "Muriels" and the like! GL!
