So I may not have told you this before but my wedding ceremony video was stolen. My friend filmed our wedding. The next two nights he stayed with his grandmother at her retirement community guest house. They went out for his birthday the day after our wedding. While he was gone, someone broke into the guest house and stole all the electronic equipment -- including the camcorder that had my ceremony video in it (he had removed the reception video earlier that day to see how the ceremony turned out so I still got the reception portion). What are the odds!
Anyways, two other people at the wedding happened to have also filmed parts of the ceremony and sent us copies of the DVDs. I had tried editing them all together but one of the DVDs is giving me problems when burned to the new DVD -- I think the format is not compatible with the video editing program I'm using.
Has anyone ever had a DVD converted to a different format? I think there are video type stores that do that. If you've used a video store for this, can you recommend where you went?
Re: NBR: Wedding video conversion - Triangle
I'm not sure if they do this kind of stuff, but here is who did our wedding video: https://www.flyingflounder.com/
Wedding video's are not their main thing - they do editing/production type stuff. Our video came out great. They might be able to help you out. Rain is the owner and was great to work with. Good luck!
