3rd Trimester

low pain?

I'm wondering if anyone has any advice or can relate...

I'm having some pain pretty low. It just started today. This morning in bed I rolled onto my back for a second and the pain started...it was more like a pulling sensation but only very low....a few inches above my pelvic bone. It was fine when I laid on my side. When I got up I noticed the same pulling-type pain when I moved from the bed to standing. Throughout the morning I could feel the pulling/pain sensation but it wasn't severe, just noticeable and feels like there is a lot of pressure down low. I didn't really feel it at all this afternon/early evening.

About an hour ago the pain came back. It's not unbearable, but it is noticeable and freaks me out. Baby Ivan is moving as normal, and has been all day. But I'm not sure if I should be worried and call my doctor tomorrow, or if it is just that I'm finally feeling some RLP? Or other normal pregnancy symptoms for the stage that I'm at.

Any input would be greatly appreciated! :)

TIA!

    \TIA!

Oh yes.. just about an hour ago.. I was on my couch and bent over to stand up and OMG.. got a REALLY strong pain down low.. I almost couldn't walk.. I stood still for a minute and then it started to go away...and yes, my baby is kicking away as I type this.. I think her head is down there...when I had them a few wks ago, I went in for an ultrasound and her head was down there.. maybe it puts more pressure on that area???

I also have really strange pains in sort of a circle around my bellybutton.. like burning, pulling feeling.. People say it is just stretching and the round ligament pains down low.. sounds like that's what you're experiencing.. but you should call your doctor anyway to be sure..

     Good luck!

  • I am 36 weeks exactly today. I have the same pains. But Mine have gotten worse. I dont know what they are either, i talked to my doctor about them and he said that it had something to do with my bladder. Which is BS cause my bladder is fine. I've had the pains also when i was as far along as you are and they werent bad but they do get worse. Sorry i know you dont want to hear that. Ask your doctor and see what they say, i would like to know also. But dont worry though cause i am healthy and so is my baby, so i dont think its anything to worry about. Also your doctor will tell you to drink lots of water if you havent already. I hope this helps, sorry if it doesnt.
  • Google Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction and see if you think you might be having that. I think I have it, but never heard of it until this week. :(
