    A lady in the church I grew up in named one of her girls Bristol.

    Not a bad name, but the Palin reference is front-and-center.

    Bristol, Willow, and Piper are NMS, but not "wow, what an insanely bizzarre name" either.

    Trig, Track, and Tripp? Wow. Really out there.

    There was a girl in my high school class named Bristol. That also happened to be in Louisville KY.

    This. It's a really hideous town here in CT. The only redeeming quality of the town is that it's the home of ESPN (this is actually where Sara Palin got the name because she apparently wanted to be a sports reporter...). To me it would be like naming your daughter Armpit of America, USA.
