If you BFed what did

your breasts look like after weaning?  Tell me they didn't resemble this...

https://theshapeofamother.com/blog/this-is-me-sagging-boobs-and-all-astrid/

From what I've read, breasts will still be droopy afor a few months after weaning but usually get a little better, right?  RIGHT???

SORRY - this is NSFW!!

Re: If you BFed what did

  • Sorry to give you bad news but mine are pretty bad. Not as droopy as that, but a bra is never an option.
  • I am scarred from looking at that. Mine are not pretty, but not that bad. Mine are still big, a little saggy, but nothing like that. I just make sure I wear good bras now.

  • You may want to put not safe for work as a warning!
  • sorry to disappoint, but I am small and still small bfing and when I was done with #1 they were smaller and droppy.  Not sure what to expect now with #2 nursing.
  • Mine look pretty similar to what they did before bf, but they feel different.  They are definitely not as firm.   I wasn't very busty at all to begin with, so maybe that helped?

  • Yes, after BFing 4 children for a combined 34 months, my boobs ARE that bad  Crying  Thank GOD for the Wonderbra, though!  I don't know what I'd do without it!  If we had the money, I would probably have a boob job.  It's that bad.

Note: I have ALWAYS worn good bras, even while sleeping.   Was a 34C pre-babies :)

  • For me, I lost all the pregnancy weight and then some. When I gain weight it goes to my boobs first and apparently, when I lose weight it strikes the twins too.

So between the weight loss and bf'ing in general - mine were deflated and flat but luckily I had enough "mass" that a good bra did the trick of pushing things back up and into place.

This was the case for me, too!!

  • Yup, pretty much.  Except mine are 2 different sizes. I sooooo want a boob job.

  • Yikes, you're really  upset about this.  I'd suggest that you just start saving up for a boob job now...or accept your body for what it is.  I have a condition that causes me to not have enough glandular tissue...so not only can I not make enough milk, but my boobs are also saggy and lopsided.  Probably worse than that woman's.  I don't know whether to be offended or amused! Huh?
  • Mine are about the same as before just a bit droopier. Who knows after #2.

    Ditto.  I was a C before and I'm a D now, so I didn't lose any fullness.  But, they're not as firm.

  • I'll tell that's not what mine look like if you want me to lie to you.

Mine are very droopy, very flat, but I do still have a little fullness but I think that's just because I'm fat.

  • I don't think it's breastfeeding though.  I think it's just gravity.
  • I was a 34DD before BFing and am a 36DDD now. I BF'd DD for 17 months and I don't think my boobs look any different. I've heard #2 is what really ruins them though so we'll see.
  • I'm afraid to look on my work computer so I'll have to check when I get home.

I went from a 34B pre-pg to a 36DD/36F at my highest. Now I'm a 34C but droopier than before. I won't go braless, and I prefer to wear a push up bra now. I really think it was the pregnancy and milk coming in that caused the changes. I nursed DD for 38 months too.

  • It just occurred to me that I think I still have a little "body" in my boobs because I still have milk.  I haven't nursed Brooke in two years but I still have some pretty noticeable letdowns.
  • BFing isn't what affects your boobs. It's pregnancy in general.
