"My Mom doesn't want you at my house everyday"

This is what B told her best friend yesterday IN FRONT of his mother when he asked to come over. Oy. I really have to watch what I say and how I say it.

He asks to come over every day and B gets upset when I say not today and I simply said we can not have company every freaking day. I need a break.

The mom laughed and I explained, but felt really bad. Damn big mouth kids.

  • You couldn't have said it any better!  Hey, maybe he'll actually stop asking to come over every day.  :- )

  • OMG, that's funny and embarrassing at the same time. I love your siggy, sghe's such a big girl.
  • See, I keep telling DH to watch what he says around Alex. He has a bad habit of talking about his coworkers in front of him, and I'm just waiting for A to say something really squirm-inducing in front of one of them.

Having said that, I have to agree that what you said was fine. Gotta love how kids interpret what we say!

  • I really don't mind and like having them over, its just I can't do it every damn day, that's what I was trying to explain to the monkey.

Thanks for the sig pic compliments.

And yes Femme, you are right! I was talking about my neighbor the other day and she herself told me not to talk about people.

  • I would die!

Here's one for you. This weekend we took the boys to visit my 90 year old grandfather in a nursing home. Nick saw his Depends & shouted "Grandpa is not a big boy - he wears diapers!". Dude - my grandpa looked humiliated & I wanted to crawl out the window.

PS - Brooke is gorgeous as usual. Love the attitude!

  • Ahahahaha! BUSTED!

Funny how kids will capture this message loud and clear yet can't remember that you said "don't put that in your mouth" 10 seconds from when you said it!

  • opps LOL

My grandma used to have a doll like what is in your siggy I loved it, my Mom hated it.  When Grandma died her husband cleaned out the house without us knowing he was doing it so I assume it got thrown out.  Makes me sad that the man that was married to her was such an assss & didn't think that her grandchildren might want something sentimental of hers.

So love your siggy it brings back good memories for me.
