Ever been to a Tastefully Simple party?

Does the hostess usually make other food in addition to the tasting samples?

  • She did not make other food, but the samples provided PLENTY!

    This!

I love TS. I place a couple of orders a year. So easy to make. Add a couple of things (like butter and water or mayo and sour cream) mix it, bake it, done.

  • I used to be a consultant, and no, the hostess really doesn't need to make any other food. Your consultant is probably bringing another 5 or so items to sample on top of what its in the kit. The samples are usually plenty, even for large parties.

    Okay, good.  Thanks!

  • I'll be paying attention to this post since I am hosting a party in November. I've never even been to one so I don't know what to expect.

I know!  I love it, too.  I have never actually been to a party, but always buy the products.  I usually despise the buying parties, but this is the one that all of my friends like to do.  It's my turn this year, I guess.

I have been craving beer bread!

Oh, and I didn't know that it was based out of Alexandria.  That's cool.

  • I agree, no need to have extra food. I LOVE TS!!!

  • I hosted one and I've been to one.

At mine, we just used all the samples which was plenty-not a lot of people there. At the one I went to there were a LOT of people there so we each got one sample but at the end she'd made lots of other food so it was great!

    So, I think either way.

  • mmmm...yes I've been to one.  The food is incredible and yes she did make some other things to go with what the samples.  There were a couple of kids there so she made some more "bland" foods (just munchie type things).  I'd say she had about 4 other types of foods there...Cheetoes, pretzels, pasta salad, and rolled sandwiches.  Maybe it was because the party was a week-night and several people came straight from work (so no time for dinner).  Plus there were about 20 people there.
  • Nope, no other food. The TS food was more than enough!

  • The one I went to the hostess did not provide other food and I left very hungry.  The TS food tasted very processed to me and I was not a fan at all.

Oh yeah, I forgot that. And, I think Creative Memories is out of St. Cloud. MN - land of 10,000 home party companies.
