How do you dress your newborn?

My ped says babies should be dressed in the same manner as adults...whatever is comfortable for the weather.  But, she has an average low temperature and I can't help but bundle her up.  I put her in a onsie, sleeper, hat, and blanket.  She seems to like it and never sweats.  What do you do for your newborn?

Keep her in just a sleeper or an outfit. If we go outside, I'll put a hat on her and cover her with a blanket.

ETA: I also always have socks on her.

i put her in sleepers when she was NB. I often heard that 1 extra layer more than adults is usually good for babies. YOU know your baby better than your pedi so do what is working!

What is the temp. there? That seems excessive. My LO has never sweat either but when she was a newborn I dressed her in a onesie or sleeper depending on the weather.

We try and keep the house temp between 68 and 72 degrees, so I keep LO in an outfit, sometimes a light blanket. If we go outside I put a hat.... and possibly a heavier blanket depending on the weather. Socks are a must

it is hot here so I just put him in a onesie and socks and keep a light receiving blanket on him, unless he is next to my body. ?At night I put him in footie pajamas and sometimes I swaddle his lower half.

I do what your pedi said to do.  They can't regulate their temp when they are first born, so she's not going to sweat a lot even if she's hot.  My LO started sweating a month or so ago.

My DS was a preemie, so we always keep him pretty bundled up. As he grows though, we dress him more according to the weather. For example, it's mid 70's in Michigan today, so we are dressed him in a long sleeve shirt (not heavy weight), and long pants with socks.
