PIP: Our new edible garden is planted! Yippee!!!

We did it! We moved-in to this home (from a condo) in April of this year and we've wanted to do this for a loooong time! It was a family event on Saturday, and DD had a blast with us! Each row is labeled. The only thing is we forgot to raise the rows, but oh well. I'm sure we'll grow something! LOL!

We still need to do more pinwheels (to scare birds away, hopefully), but I can't think of where to get more. The one you see in the pic was a gift to DD.

And our plastic owl is our stand-in scarecrow.

Neat!  You better show more pics when it starts growing.  We want to do the same thing.  L loves to dig and water the ground so I know she will love it.

Nice work! We had a small vegetable garden at our old house, but we're looking forward to planting a bigger one here in the spring. I'm jealous of your fall plantings!

You can get pinwheels at any toy or dollar store.
