Will you, DH, and/or DC get the swine flu vaccine?

No. We don't even get the regular flu vaccine. TJ had it the first winter he could and I had it that same year, and we BOTH got the flu.

It really depends upon what each of us does for a living. I'm a nurse who is coughed on all.day.long. So, yes, we will ALL get it!

(And we've had 5 confirmed deaths from the swine flu at my hospital within the past month alone.)

Still undecided on the swine flu shot -I'm leaning toward yes for dd and I (it's up to dh about his) -but we all always get the regular flu shot.  I used to get the flu bad every year, but since I started getting the shot 10 years ago, I have not gotten it once (fingers crossed).  Could be a coincidence but it's enough to get me to keep getting it and for dh and dd to get it yearly as well.

They haven't released an h1n1 shot yet, but if / when they do, my DH and I for sure will get one. I have already gotten the seasonal flu shot, it's required where I work (in a hospital). Will have to learn more about the h1n1 shot before I make a decision, they still don't know if it's going to be 1 dose or 2, etc.

DH will probably get it because he is in and out of Dr offices all day long for his job.  We haven't decided if DS and/or I will get it.  

We all get the regular flu shot.  I've been in the hospital with the flu and it was awful.

not sure - we have had something like 11 deaths in my county, so I am on the fence.

1st off I just have to say that the regular flu shot will not prevent you from getting the flu but it will not be as bad or you may get a different strand of the flu.  Anyway, to answer your question, we all got the regular flu shot and we are on the fence on the h1n1.  We have some confirmed cases in my office already and I am high risk due to my asthma and both my kids are in daycare.  I am leaning toward yes but we have not made a final decision yet.

negatory. and the first h1n1 vaxes will prob be spray. so thats a double negatory.

I will for sure. I have to for school. We start clinicals in the hospitals next month. I already got the regular seasonal flu shot. DS will get that one as well, and I'll discuss h1n1 with the pedi at that time.

No.  We don't get regular flu shots either.
