2 year old will not go to sleep

So my wonderful 2 year old will not go to sleep until 10 every night. I have tried moving up our routine, nothing. He does sleep 3 hours during the day at daycare. I have tried to lay him down and he screams, I have stayed in his room and he just talks to me..help please!

Tell the daycare not to let him sleep so long during the day.

Even when he only sleeps for a hour on the wkend he is up until 10.

Do you let him hang out with you until 10? Or in his bedroom? I give DS some toys and books in bed, and he falls asleep when he is ready. Have you told me where in KS you are? You can PM me if you don't want to say on here. We KS gals are a lot of fun!

This is my DD. She doesn't even nap and is still up until 10pm. I wish I had advice for you.

this is why my son  year old stopped napping at 2.

We are in the KC metro:) I have tried to let him hang out in his crib until then but he cries and screams so he is usually with us.

My 2.5 year old won't regularly go to bed before 10 or 11 at night.  It STINKS!!!!

I have been wondering if she is just not getting enough physical activity since she is at an in home daycare and they don't usually go outside to play.

I have to admit as a kid I was quite the hoot owl, but he used to be so great about going to sleep. At 10 he doesn't fight it and drifts off fast, before then it is a nightmare.
