DS has RSV. It's a respiratory virus. We have been doing breathing treatments since Thursday. Today the Dr. put him on steroids. His breathing is improving but this virus is holding on a long time. She wants him to stop wheezing before he goes back to daycare, hopefully on Thursday. Just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this and could offer some encouraging words.

    I haven't personally experienced this, but I am a PT and have seen lots of babies with RSV.  Unfortunately,many of the babies I saw were in the hospital and this was the least of their problems.  Keep up with the breathing treatments and I'm ure he'll do great =)

    We just found out this morning that DS has this, too. I am worried, but at the same time I'm sure he'll be fine. I've talked to some coworkers, and most of them have gone through this with their own children.
