I'm on my way to spend the day with DH. He came home from a guys weekend with chestpains which got very bad last night. I took him to urgent care and they thoought he needed to be trandferred by ambulance for observation in the cardiac care unit.
I've been called to the hospital on so many emergencies this summer (my dad has been in the ICU since June) that I literally have called every single friend I have to watch my kids on the drop of a hat. DD can go to preschool today, but I don't think I have anywhere else I can take DS. I am worried about trying to keep him occupied while sitting in the ER all day. (The 24 hour cardiac observation unit is part of the ER) And I'm not paricularly pleased about what DS might be exposed to in the ER but I have no idea what else to do.
Re: leaving to spend day at hospital-this time with DH.
I hope your DH is okay. Bring plenty of purell and maybe a sheet to put on the floor in case anything drops.
If you lived by me, I would watch your DS for you.
