Dress shopping = FAIL

I tried on dresses for 2.5 hours today for my little sister's wedding. Nothing fit or looked good. Arrrrgh!!!

My sister requested that I wear a brown dress, but I am *this* close to buying whatever looks good, regardless of color. Is that rude? I'm not in the wedding (DD is a flower girl) and at this point I am struggling to care.

I'm going OOT this week, so I'll look when I'm there. So frustrating!!

  • That's so frustrating. :(  Have you checked a dress barn?  My bf got a really cute brown one there, not long ago.  Good luck!

  • I bet you'll never hear the end of it if you don't wear brown.  Sorry hun!

Ditto David's bridal.  It may not be the cutest dress ever, but you can usually chose the color.

  • Why is your sister dictating what you wear if you are not 'in' the wedding party?  What difference does it make?
promised myself I'd retire when I turned gold, and yet here I am
