Success after IF

!!!!SaraScissors!!!

Hey! I haven't seen you post much, but I was thinking about you the other day and how you must be doing and how flipping excited you must be as the weeks pass.  I just saw your belly pic post...you look great!!  I totally hear you about the fat face - I thought mine was so outrageous.  I tried to dodge cameras toward the end unsuccessfully because there are way too many pg pics on my facebook.  I hate them!

Also, not to sound stalker-ish, but I really like the floors in your house (I'm assuming it's yours anyway).  :)

Take care!!!

Re: !!!!SaraScissors!!!

  • Hey Sara!  You're so sweet!  I am getting excited as the weeks pass...and a bit freaked out about the whole labor situation at the same time.  :)  I try to avoid camera's too these days but want to get in a bump pic every now and then too.  I've always been the type that you can tell my weight in my face (it runs in the women of my family I think!) so I wasn't too surprised.  My shower is this Sunday so that should be fun, hopefully we'll get lots of stuff for Bennett.

And thanks about the comment on my floors.  Yes it is my house!  My house is nearly 90 years old and those are the original ones.  We just put that gloss protectant on them when I moved in 4 years ago.

How is every thing going with your little ones?  Getting in any sort of routine yet?  When are you planning to go back to teaching?

PS--Are you on facebook?  If so we should be "friends"!

  • I hope you get lots of goodies at your shower too!  We had 2 (and a half, since my work shower was cancelled when I was having too many BH contrax) and they helped us out SO much.  Looking around, I realize we payed for very little so far, which is great.

I'm so jealous of your floors!  We're hoping to one day "inherit" my grandmother's house - I love it for the old wood floors and the huge fireplace, but we'll see - it'd need lots of work.

Things are slowly settling down (as much as they can) with the babies.  We kind of have a routine going.  My mom or my MIL has been here nearly every day since they got home, and I've decided that I've had enough help.  I was having anxiety about whether or not I could handle 2 babies and I think it stems from not ever having to actually do it.  So I've evicted all help - whether they like it or not!

I am going back to teaching, and I am NOT excited about it.  For the next year, we're going to have to do the math and see if I should go back to work or not.  But this year, not going back was not an option - plus we have "free" childcare between the moms.

I am on facebook - I'll send you a PM with my info.  :)
