alright then (badmom)

soooo, when Hailey's new carseat came in I cut a little door and a window in it so Haven could play in it.  He has almost destroyed the thing and occasionally will peel some of the outside off and chew on it.  I always catch him, hold out my hand, and he promptly takes it out of his mouth and gives it to me.

Well, Hailey is crawling now and got at one of those little scraps Haven tore off the box yesterday. I took it out of her hand and threw it aways.

BUT,apparently the little heffer was able to eat a piece first because guess what I just found in her poopy diaper?  yup, paper.  yay.

I request someone come attatch 2 more arms and insert a couple more eyes in the back of my head now please. kthanks.

  • Although I wouldn't generally recommend cutting a window and door into a carseat, this is a rather amusing story.  ;)  You may now have to take the 'goat' title away from Hippy's K.  And I think we should start a petition - one set of arms per child.

Haha! I was gonna ask how you fit a window and door into a carseat. Stick out tongue

  • Ummmm...she's early on the "reuse, recycle" train?

I don't think it makes you a bad mom, though. It just sounds like you could certainly use more arms!

  • i've only got one kid and the amount of paper he's ingested is probably enough to make a book out of. no lie. he went through a stage where all he wanted to do was eat paper. he'd eat books if he got one when you weren't looking, we actually saved one that was in the car for a while and he'd "read" it for like 30 seconds and then would eat it and I could never get it away from him without him screaming so eventually we decided it was just a little extra fiber and let him at it!
