So my mom is so cute! She just called and said she's really getting into this EF stuff. Haha! Anyway, she found a recipe for EF playdoh. This is really important to us because um, well, my kid LOVES to eat his play doh more than play with it. For the red color, it calls for beet juice. Anyone know where I can find this?
Also, we're doing finger paints with jello, do you think the beet juice would work for that too?
Re: Where to find beet juice?
Get a can of beets and use the juice. Or puree some beets.
Just an FYI, handling raw beets stained my hands, so keep that in mind if you're incorporating into play-dough. I can't see it staying only in the play-dough.
