Favorite toys for 2-3 year olds?

I'm thinking ahead for Christmas and DD's 2nd birthday in Feb. and am wondering if you had some reco's for your DC's fave toys.  She currently really likes reading, playing with baby dolls, and anything that has to do with animals.  Tia!
