Cottonbabies PF - what brand?

Do they make their own PF too? I'm comparing indian prefolds and while I know everyone is all about GMD I can't afford them.

I love our Cottonbabies pfs but I have found them cheaper someplace else and they look the same...but?

This other source says its Baby Textiles Brand. Anyone know what Cottonbabies are?

Re: Cottonbabies PF - what brand?

  • i have no idea but we are using little lions prefolds and they are great.  i've never used GMD and i will probably just buy LL again next time.  instead of getting GMD yellows i bought LL "capri" sized, which are supposedly the same thing.  DD is now 4 months and about 13 pounds and we still have room.

  • The brand I'm looking at are Little Lions!!!! :)

Can I ask if you recall how much you paid for premies? Thanks!
  • I bough Little Lions the only problem is that they are to narrow to use the snappi easily I wish I had bough wider ones I have infant size the capri would have been nicer but I really needed to save money with DH and I both out of work.

Told IVF is the only option and have not found a clinic that will take me.

  • i didn't buy preemie size from them--i had bought "infant" ones from nell's natural baby but they were so small...after being used for two months or so, they now measure about 10"x12" (website said they would shrink to 10.5x13 i think).  those i paid $18 for a dozen.

the capris i got on sale, the sale is still going on...$20.70 for a dozen, $27.45 after shipping.  their website is listing preemie size for $9/dozen, infant for $16.15 a dozen.  (wish i knew that when i ordered the others! LOL)

i would sell you a half dozen of my teeny ones if you want, $8 ppd....they were awesome but now that she's bigger we only use them as burp cloths...

  • I have LL seconds and they are great.  They were super cheap too.  Just another option to consider!  I found GMD's to be too pricey too.  The whole point of a prefold (for me) is that they are extremely cheap. So cost was my number one concern.

ETA:  Oops looks like everyone else already suggested LL.  I have the infant (haven't use yet) and the premiums.  The premiums are the same as my other premiums from a local CD store, and are wide enough to snappi with my 2 year old.
