yeast and wool...HELP!

So, summerly has been a huge help in what to do for K's yeast rash...but she doesn't have wool.

I know I should treat everything CD related...but how do I treat wool?!?!

    I would probably put GSE in the water while you are washing the wool and in with the lanolin. And then pray that it helps. I would be terrified to bleach my wool.

    I've always just added GSE to my wool wash.

    I'm not bleaching anything....Summerly's advice was for GSE only (and it's what finally got rid of their yeast...) so I'm avoiding bleach unless I have to.

     

    I wasn't sure if there was anything more I should do beyond GSE for wool...thanks

    the absolute hottest water you can stand.  i put all my wool in a giant bucket and poured boiling water over them, added a color catcher, then stirred them with a big spoon so i wouldn't have to touch the water.
