Mini-freak out!

I was so excited to get my Urban Fluff AIO in the mail last week....but there were absolutely no prepping instructions. None. I searched online and didn't find anything to give me a clue.

I don't know why, but I have this insane urge to get them washed NOW. Any ideas how to prep these diapers? Microfiber fleece interior with PUL exterior.

Re: Mini-freak out!

  • Sounds like a wash once type diaper

  • What's the insert made of?  I'd probably do two hot washes and a hot dry to be on the safe side.
  • Nevermind you said microfiber fleece?  Wash once hot dry.

"Super-absorbent soaker made of 3 layers of thirsty ultra-fine waffle-weave microfiber toweling, plus an absorbent body layer of of ultra-fine waffle weave microfiber to help prevent wicking" - https://www.urban-fluff.com/deluxefluff.html

Should I put my detergent in both cycles? No fabric softener, right? (I feel like I did all this research on all of this baby stuff, but when it comes I freak out and forget everything)

Oh wow, that seems far too easy. Hah! Beautiful!

A little detergent (no more than a tbsp seriously) in the water to do the wash.  Wash with 4-5 regular towels to make it easier for a load.  AND NO FABRIC SOFTENER EVER!  Not yelling, just stressing.  :-)  Basically, I was told for a load of diapers no more than 18 max in the washer, full tub of water with an extra rinse cycle to help get out any remaining suds.  They seem to love my MF.  Hope that helps.

  • Thank you SO much!!
