I'm so excited! I've been waiting to do it for months...dunno why, but we're giving the last six weeks of the season a try!

I did it when we were in Tampa and oh my did I have to learn different ways to prepare things.  At one point I have something like 40 zucchini sitting on my counter.

I have wanted to try one, but we are already so bad about using the veggies we buy at the store that I think it would mostly go to waste.

CSA = Community Supported Agriculture

Basically, it's like a personal Farmer's Market, but you "buy" into the farm every season. It guarantees their income. So I'll get fresh, organic produce, meats, eggs, etc, from a community Amish farm (made up of 45 farms in the area, run by one major farm)!!
