PLing advice?

i'd love my DS to start PLing.  my oldest was 4 by the time he took to it!  DS will be 3 in December and I really would love to get him out of diapers soon.  Anyone know of any great potty pants?  Thanks!

Re: PLing advice?

  • I actually tried about 5 different kinds of trainers and IMO they all sucked. Once my son was in pee mode, he just can't stop, haha! So even with trainers, he'd look down and it would just go all over the floor. Absorbant my bum!

Anyway, I took him to pick out his own undies which happened to be Thomas the Train. Then we gave him a talk about how Thomas doesn't like to get wet so no peepees on him. Then to make sure his accidents didn't leak and go all over the floor we followed it with some fun shorties/soakers I got off ebay. I got them with fun stuff on them so he'd like wearing them. One has french fries, one a tree, and one has aliens. He's had a few accidents at first which made him wet enough that he learned and wanted changed, but didn't go on my floors. After about three or four weeks now, he's about 99% potty trained and doing great. Our only problem is getting him to go when he's really into something. This week it has been watering our new bushes! Haha!
