I said April (a bit nicer weather), but March would be doable as well for us.

Question : I noticed people talking about leaving their kids/babies...are babies/husbands included or not? If we come to Chicago (to visit in laws at the same time) DS will def. be with us and I don't feel comfortable leaving him with my in laws....

I said April '10 since I don't want to fly with a newborn before then. We also have family in Chicago and always go to visit in the spring, usually late April or early May so chances are I can plan the trip around the GTG.

I said other because I loathe the cold and our gtg in chicago in November was miserable (well, it was wonderful, but miserably cold!!!).

 

Otherwise I vote for April after baseball season starts so DH and I can combine our annual baseball game/anniversary trip ; )

I voted March (as long as it's not the 25th) but anytime in Chicag works for me. Anywhere else, probably not since I can't travel for a while.

I chose "other" b/c it's unlikely I'd be able to make a national get-together unless it were local to me (new england).  $$ and schedules don't allow it and the first chance they do, we are taking a trip to CA to visit my sis.  Bummer!

Just to throw it out there... I have a 22 year old sister, and a soon to be 18 year old sister both are professional students and babysitters, there is an option for childcare if children come, and we plan a "girls night out!"

I know I'm more of a lurker but I'd love to make it to a GTG and maybe mext year I will but I'm due on March 20 so I don't see any of those months working for me either... maybe me and GuitaristsGirl can have our own later in the year ;o)

Anyways, I hope you ladies have a wonderful Chicago GTG and eat lots of awesome food (isn't Tom Coliccio's restaurant up there?) and take lots of pics for those of us who can't make it!

This would be awesome!!!!!!! I would definitely bring Henry with me if I came and would just chill at the hotel during grown ups only stuff, but if we had trustworthy sitters I would happily pay them for a girls night out

And, any of the spring months would work for me.  As soon as we decide I can make sure my DH doesn't travel during our dates.
