How to tell DH

So found out yesterday that I'm pregnant....surprisingly!!  We tried forever to have DS #1 and had to do IVF.  I never went back on the pill after him, we thought we'd leave it up to God....and God has graced us!!  So although we weren't preventing, we weren't trying either, and this will be a SHOCK to DH   (a good one)

So any creative ideas of how to rock his world when he gets home from work today??  I ordered a "big brother" tee shirt for DS, that's how we'll spread the word to our families, but I'm looking for something different for DH.

Thanks!  And YIKES....what am I in for?!?!  18 months apart - holy crapoly!

I would have loved to pick up a small cake, that's already iced, but with nothing written on it for DH.  I would have iced it with one big blue sperm and then piped "Congrats! You have swimmers!" But this has been an ongoing inside joke between us. 

How about go to the florist and get blue and pink carnations.  Have them put 'It's a Girl!' and 'It's a Boy!' sticks in them.  That's how I told DH the first time.  I will try to find the pic and post it here.  Let us know how you do it!

We also went through multiple fertility treatments to get pregnant with DD and I was shocked when I got a BFP with no effort. I'd been in denial about symptoms, but finally POAS at work one afternoon. I immediately left and went home, shoved the pee stick at DH and then just cried.

I also just found out and had ordered a big brother t shirt.  Yesterday I had DS greet my husband at the door wearing the shirt.  DH was confused and said to Brady "why are you wearing a big brother shirt?  you aren't a big brother yet?"  It took him a few seconds and then he figured it out.  It was perfect and I even got him on video.
