FFs, and wasting formula and measuring...

First, I realized that when I used the scoop, I way undermeasured (by like 20 or 30%).  I now weigh the formula.  I make 32 oz for the day and measure out 139 grams of formula on a digital scale.

And, I pre-make that 32 oz in the morning, which has allowed me to waste less, because I can just pour out what he needs (or what I think he wants) and then go back for more if he finishes.

Lastly, I absolutely love the Dr Brown's pitcher:

How do you know you undermeasured?  Where did you get the number 139 grams for 32 oz?

I use the dr. brown's pitcher too!

I measured the weight of the number of scoops, to the weight of dry formula (on the bottle) and there was about a 30% difference.

I use Earth's Best formula, and they give grams of formula per ounce.
