Update to ouch ouch

So, I figured out what some of the pressure feeling is. Apparently my entire "downstairs" area is very very swollen. I am also still having the back pain and what I think are Braxton Hicks type contractions. (I never had any with my first pg) Is this relatively normal or do I need to be calling the OB??

Any more than 4 BH contractions an hour and you need to call your OB and head to L&D.

i would call. 18 wks seems early to have BH although i could be wrong about that. no harm in a phone call though. GL.

Swollen down there would be an understatement.  I am no longer sitting on my tail bone, if ya know what I mean!  And if I walk for any period of time whatsoever "it" hangs about half way to my knees.  Wierd.

Called my Ob- they said its normal to have BH already and that the swelling is probably varicose veins down there. Lovely. She wanted me to take a look and see if everything is purple. I think I would rather not know.
