i found cases of?Mexican?Coke at COSTCO today. ?i was so shocked i stood there staring for a few minutes...?

now what is the EF-ness of this. ?it's coke made w/sugar vs HFCS, but it's imported from mexico (unless it was actually made in the USA to be exported). ?and even though sugar cane isn't (necessarily) made with GMOs, it comes with it's own unique ethical issues.?

Yum!  I ordered a root beer (not EF) with my dinner tonight and they forgot it.  =(  Now I'm deciding if I should try to find one in the hotel somewhere.

ours has carried it for quite some time. when i do indulge in a coke, it's one of these. i feel a little bit better about the cane sugar than the hfcs, as far as what's going into my body, and i just love drinking out of a glass bottle. have no clue on the eco-friendly aspect though.

I don't know how you guys can drink that stuff....it tastes horrible to us! We went to Dominican Republic for our honeymoon and everything was made from sugar cane. DH and I are big pop drinkers (we don't do coffee, so coke and Mt. Dew are our beasts) and this was the only week in our entire life we didn't drink pop. Ughhh....it makes me sick to just think about it.

hahaha really? DH and I drink only the stuff from costco now...we also get the root beer. after having it, if we drink "regular" coke now, we want to gag. the stuff made with cane sugar seriously tastes a MILLION times better to us...

It's so funny you posted this!  Last weekend my friend and I went on a road trip and she brought a case of this stuff (from Costco)!!!  I LOVE it!!  I'm a Coke drinker and the taste was just AMAZING compared to American Coke.  I'm addicted.  Highly recommend it for anyone who is near a Costco that carries the "real" Coke.
